Since the AAO convention we have been busy planning a series of seminars. The first one will be held at the Four Seasons Olympic Hotel in Seattle, Washington, USA, on Monday, September 22 immediately following the AAOMS convention.

This seminar will feature Michael Samchukov, MD, along with Stuart Dessner, DDS, and Yan Razdolsky, DDS. Michael Samchukov, MD is the Associate Director of Ilizarov Research at the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Samchukov worked side by side with Dr. Ilizarov before his move to Baylor University. Stuart Dessner, DDS is an Arlington Heights, Illinois Oral Surgeon and is on staff at Highland Park Hospital. Dr. Dessner will outline the surgical aspects of in office oral osteodistraction procedures. Yan Razdolsky, DDS is an orthodontist in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and the inventor of the ROD appliances. He will present a step-by-step approach to the fabrication of the ROD distractors and their use for lower jaw lengthening. This seminar will present a dynamic program.
