The Mandible Distractor from SYNTHES Maxillofacial was specifically designed for ramus elongation. It consists of a single vector telescoping distraction rod with an external activator allowing up to 30 mm of bone lengthening. Left or right foot plates are available to facilitate anterior or posterior position of fixation screws.
