Indications

Indications for the ROD-1 tooth-borne intraoral distraction appliance include:

• Class I or Class II malocclusions

• Skeletal mandibular deficiency

• Lower incisor flaring of greater than 110° (relative to mandibular plane)

• Lower incisor crowding greater than 8 mm

• Interdental distraction to create arch length followed by orthodontically moving teeth through regenerate bone
