Osteotomy & Device Placement
Finally, the saw is reversed and the osteotomy is carried through the alveolar crest superoinferiorly to a point approximately 3 mm superior to the inferior alveolar canal.
At this time, the osteotomy has been completed with the exception of a 5 mm section of bone lingual to the inferior alveolar nerve.
